Aircond Service Benefits
Regular aircond servicing every 6-12 months has significant benefits
Clean & Safe Air Quality
Dirty or clogged filters can lead to poor indoor air quality, as they may not effectively remove dust, allergens, and pollutants from the air. Regular servicing includes cleaning or replacing filters, which can significantly improve the air quality in your home or office.
Reduce Energy Bills
Regular maintenance helps keep the aircond unit’s components clean and in optimal condition. This reduces energy consumption and ensures that the system operates efficiently. An efficient aircond system can help lower electricity bills and reduce your carbon footprint.
Avoid Serious Problems
Servicing identifies and addresses minor issues early, extending the unit’s lifespan, preventing costly premature replacements, and reducing the risk of inconvenient breakdowns.
FAQ
How Often Should I Service My Aircon?
Chemical service should be conducted every 6-12 months depending on usage of the unit. So if you use it for around 2 hours a day you should service every year but if you use it for 6 hours a day then you’ll need to service every 6 months or even earlier.
Basic service should be done once every 2-3 months if a chemical service is not performed. However, we have found that the basic service is not economically efficient or thorough enough and thus you would need to service very frequently and often it might not solve some of the issues which are causing your Aircon to not work properly. We highly recommend a chemical service of the indoor and outdoor unit which is the only way to remove the impurities and bacteria and the only way to clean the filters of the Aircon unit effectively.
Generally, commercial premises which run Aircon units throughout the day will need to service every 3 months and sometimes even more frequently.
What are the time estimates for an Aircond service?
For Wall Mounted Aircon units a Chemical Service would take approximately 45 mins for the first unit and each additional unit would take another 30 mins so if you had 5 units the total time taken to service would be 1 hour 15 minutes.
For Wall Mounted Aircon units a Basic Service would take approximately 15 mins for the first unit and each additional unit would take another 15 mins so if you had 5 units the total time taken to service would be 1 hour 15 minutes.
Not all Aircon units are the same, some are slightly easier to service then others. Also the ease of access to the Aircon units are a factor in how long each will take. The times stated above are averages only.
We also provide an Overhaul service for wall mounted units. A time estimate would be 2 hours per unit and then each additional unit would be approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Note: Cassette Mounted Aircon units take more time to service, in fact they can take twice as long as wall mounted units.
How Long in Advance Do You Need to Book an Appointment?
We recommend 1 to 2 days in advance. Subject to slot availability
My Aircon Is Leaking. What Should I Do?
We do provide aircon water leak repair. Usually, aircon water leak is due to a blocked drain pipe. We’re also able to solve water leak issues together with our chemical service package. If our technicians find any damage that needs to be repaired or parts replaced, we will quote you the price accordingly.
Does Troubleshooting Service Include Parts, Repair or Replacement?
Our technicians will diagnose your aircon initially to identify issues or damage. Once we have diagnosed the problem, we will quote you for any further repair work required. Upon your confirmation, we will proceed with the repair work
How to Find Out the Type of Gas/Refrigerant/Freon in Your Aircon?
On your outdoor unit (Compressor), there is a label stating your aircon model number and other details. You can find the type of freon filled in your aircon on that label. Click example: Daikin label
